CS 3604 Research Resources: Researching Responsibly

In class, we will discuss two different research scenarios.  In each on, the researcher makes at least one error that has serious ramifications.  Read these two case studies (linked below), and answer the following questions:

• What was the undesirable outcome in this situation?
• What did the researcher do that contributed to this outcome?
• What, if anything, would you have done differently from the researcher in his situation?
