3D Design Studio

3D Design Studio (Newman 2010)

The 3D Design Studio provides students with a way to bring their creations to life. Students can bring their ready-to-print files into the 3D Design Studio and have them printed for free.

Fusion Studio

Fusion Studio (Newman 2038)

The Fusion Studio is a learning environment designed to promote interdisciplinary ways of thinking and doing. It fosters a community of innovation through serendipitous dialogue and the cross-fertilization, mingling, and recombination of ideas. It is a space of connection.

The Newman Library Learning Commons strives for a holistic approach to campus enrichment and education by partnering with campus and community stakeholders, creating innovative programs, providing collaborative work spaces, and offering diverse technologies.

Graduate Study Room- Newman Library

Quiet Study Spaces (3rd and 5th Floors)

The Newman Library provides quiet study spaces for all students on the 3rd and 5th floors, and Graduate students also have access to the Graduate Study Room (Newman 416).

Writing Center

Library Partners

The University Libraries partner with departments across campus to provide you with services and assistance in Newman Library and online. These partnerships include both academic-related support like Assistive Technology Services, CommLab, and the Virginia Tech Writing Center and places-of-interest like the Library study café, the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Museum, and Virginia Tech Intellectual Properties.
