Constitution and Citizenship Day is September 17. Celebrate and learn with us as we recognize that as an institution which receives Title IV federal funds we must offer student programming in observance of this designated holiday.

VIRGINA TECH PROFESSOR, DR. WAYNE MOORE, WILL LEAD A DISCUSSION ABOUT THE "UNOFFICIAL CONSTITUTION"

The Office of University Scholarships and Financial Aid and Virginia Tech' s pre-law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta are pleased to co-sponsor an event in honor of the annual Constitution Day celebration. Dr. Wayne Moore from Virginia Tech’s Department of Political Science will give a talk on the topic of the “Unofficial Constitution” which looks at the “roles that the people at large (e.g., ordinary citizens) have played within the constitutional system” based on his original research.

The event will take place on Monday, September 18^th in New Classroom Building (NCB) room 260, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and is open to all members of the University community.
