IFS (Integrated Foundational Sciences) Required Information Sources

Below are the required materials for IFS.  These are arranged alphabetically by the format they are available in (print or online) and how they are made accessible to you (library, VT login, Carilion login)

Print books are available for use in each Problem-Based Learning room. Each room contains one copy which must remain in the PBL. We have additional copies available at the VTCSOM Library for 4-hour checkout.

Electronic access to these books is provided by the University Libraries at Virginia Tech. Sign in with your VT PID and password (when prompted).

These E-books are available through Carilion Clinics using your OpenAthens login.
