Rachel Miles

I specialize in research impact and engagement, citation analysis, research network visualizations, altmetrics, science communication, researcher profiles, and research impact indicators. I offer customized instruction and consultations for faculty, staff, and students on these topics, and I also offer support and instruction on major bibliographic and altmetric databases, such as Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar, Dimensions, Microsoft Academic, and Altmetric Explorer.

In addition to research impact, I am the library liaison to the Psychology Department and the School of Neuroscience and can offer research consultations to faculty, staff, and students in these subject areas, such as support and instruction in subject-based databases (e.g., PsycINFO, PubMed), searching, saving searches, creating advanced search queries, information evaluation, and integrating media for online instruction.
