OpenAthens Portal

OpenAthens is the user portal that provides links to library resources for access while on- or off-site.

  OpenAthens consists of four areas accessible by clicking on the tabs under the OpenAthens graphic:

   1.  Home tab containing [see image below for example]:

  • Panel or box containing links to resources

  • Search boxes for the Libraries' catalog and PubMed

  • Library announcements or information

   2.  Resources tab with:

  •  Complete list with descriptions of the library resources available to you

  •  Ability to create a Favourite Resources panel for your Home tab

   3.  My Account tab to:

  •  Change your password

   4.  Help tab for:

  •  More helpful hints and instructions

  •  Contact your librarian for help with MyAthens
