Power to Heal - How leaders and grass-root volunteers collaborated with the federal government to mount a coordinated effort to provide equal and adequate healthcare for all Americans at a time when less than half of the nation's hospitals served black and white patients equally, and in the South, 1/3 of hospitals would not admit black patients, even for emergencies.
