VTechWorks is the Virginia Tech institutional repository, managed by the University Libraries. Its purpose is to highlight, preserve, and provide unrestricted access to the work of faculty, staff, and students, as well as the intellectual output of the university in its land-grant mission to serve the Commonwealth of Virginia, the nation, and the world community through the discovery and dissemination of new knowledge.
The collection specifically for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is available here.
PubAg is a portal to USDA-authored and other highly relevant agricultural research. At launch, it delivers over 40,000 full-text journal articles by USDA staff and includes nearly 450,000 citations. The Library will add about 20,000 citations each month. The initial release also previews its directions for intended functionality and will serve as the foundation for further enhancements.
Journal of Extension is a rigorous, peer-reviewed journal that brings the scholarship of university outreach and engagement to educators and practitioners around the world. Feature, Research in Brief, and Ideas at Work submissions undergo double-blind review, and Commentary and Tools of the Trade submissions are reviewed by the editor, Dr. Laura Hoelscher.
Databases listed alphabetically, by subject, or topic; this is a place to access databases- which is a way to access the deep web.
