Creating an institutional student login account

Boards & Beyond (B&B) has two products, one that is offered as an individual subscription, the other as an institutional subscription.  VTCSOM has provided you with the institutional subscription so you do not pay for access. This also enables faculty to assign videos and quizzes in addition to being able to use this resource for your own self-learning and assessment. 

1. Login to Virginia Tech’s Board’s & Beyond portal 
2. Click on Create an Account
3. Enter your VT email address and click on the verification link that is sent
4. Enter in the following access code: xcSLY7P531XzsLnM5
5. You need to select "student" and your expected graduation year
6. You must select the last two boxes under the "Academic Information" section in order to proceed (first box is optional).
7. Click Sign up and you are done!

If you do not log into your account for 90 days or more, you will need to reactivate your account.

• You will always login to this portal using your username and password
  • If you are asked for an email address, you are in the "wrong" section of the B&B product, click on "institutional login" to get to where you need to be
• If you run into problems accessing or using this side of Boards & Beyond, please let Kiri know (and provide a screenshot of the error/issue taking place)
