WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool

  • Description: WAVE is a suite of evaluation tools that helps authors make their web content more accessible to individuals with disabilities. WAVE can identify many accessibility and Web Content Accessibility Guideline (WCAG) errors, and also facilitates human evaluation of web content.

AXE Accessibility Checker

  • Description: Axe is a browser extension that allows developers to test their web content for accessibility issues directly from their browser. It's an open-source tool that provides actionable insights and is considered one of the most reliable accessibility software.

 Google Lighthouse

  • Description: Lighthouse is an open-source, automated tool for improving the quality of web pages. It has audits for performance, accessibility, progressive web apps, and more. You can run it against any web page, public or requiring authentication.

Color Contrast Analyzer

  • Description: This tool allows you to check the color contrast of text and visual elements on web pages to ensure that information is easily discernible by users with color vision impairments. It's crucial for meeting WCAG 2.1 contrast requirements.

  • Description: AChecker is a tool that allows you to check the accessibility of web content based on a variety of guidelines, including WCAG 2.0 and WCAG 2.1. It provides detailed feedback on accessibility issues and potential fixes.
