Celebrating Virginia Tech's Sesquicentennial: Resources from the University Libraries: External Resources

As we move toward the 150th anniversary of Virginia Tech, this guide brings together known resources from campus and the larger community on the history of the university. This guide will be updated as new projects are completed.

Introduction

This page includes links to resources beyond Virginia Tech that related to our university's history, including digital collections. The descriptions of resources below include, whenever possible, a note about the rights for use of the materials. If the rights are not known, we have tried to provide a contact person/institution for the materials who may be able to provide those details.

Digital Resources beyond Virginia Tech

The Harris & Ewing Collection at the Library of Congress includes 23 images of VPI from 1905. Information about rights and use of these digital images is available on the Library of Congress website, Harris & Ewing Photographs, Rights and Restrictions Information
