Additional related workshop options: communicating and promoting your research, using research metrics data, identifying the best journals and publication venues, creating clear and engaging titles and abstracts.

This course contains several modules with information and instructions on creating and maintaining scholarly profiles: ORCID, Scopus Author Profile, Elements, Virginia Tech Experts, SciENcv, Google Scholar Profile, Sage Policy Profile, and Web of Science Profile. Although you may have experience using 1 or more of the profile systems, we recommend completing all of the modules and working through them in order. For some modules, you may be able to skim through the content and complete the associated assignment quickly if you have already been using the associated profile system.
