The VTCSOM Health Sciences Library is a designated quiet study space for VTCSOM students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
VirginiaTech unsecured wifi access is available to all visitors. Eduroam wifi access is restricted to currently enrolled Virginia Tech students and currently employed Virginia Tech faculty and staff who are authorized to use this wireless LAN service. Carilion-AppNet access is restricted to currently enrolled VTCSOM students and to currently employed Carilion staff.
If an item you need is located at one of the other locations (and is not listed as a journal, on reserve, or "library use only"), you can request the material to be sent to the VTCSOM Library by requesting it through Interlibrary loan. Use your PID/password to log into the system; first-time users will be presented with a screen to create their profile in ILLiad. Submit your request (or check on the status) through your ILLiad account.
Materials which are not owned by the University Libraries can be obtained through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) for Virginia Tech affiliated patrons.
