Interlibrary Loan

For items borrowed from another library, the loan period and any restrictions are determined by the lending library. 

For most print or media items: 

• Loan periods generally run from 2-8 weeks, though some may have shorter loan periods.
• Some materials may have restricted usage, such as:
  • Library Use Only: the item cannot leave Newman Library, and we cannot mail the material to Extended Users.
  • No Renewals
  • No Photocopying: the lending library does not allow for copying due to copyright restrictions, though this happens rarely.

Due dates and any restrictions are printed on the ILL labels affixed to the material.
